Ghana and Fulham transfer target defender Daniel Amartey has undergone a successful surgery on his ankle at Leicester City in the on-going 2019/20 season.
The 25-year-old sustained an ankle injury during the build-up to the FA Cup clash against Aston Villa last week, however the seriousness of the injury was downplayed by manager Brandon Rodgers.
But according to in England, Amartey has undergone a successful surgery on the ankle and is set to face a spell on the sidelines hence ruling him out of any transfer this winter.
He was on the radar of several Championship clubs including Fulham FC in the on-going transfer window.
Both between both clubs had been held over the possible switch of the Black Stars defender but the latest injury could block the transfer despite reaching an agreement.
He has made a handful of appearances for Leicester City in all competitions so far this term.
