Full African Draw for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers - Round 2

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has today completed the draw for the African qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup which has been scheduled to take place in Qatar. 

The draw has produced a total of 10 groups with one teach expected to progress out of the various groups at the end of the series. From there, the qualified teams will progress to the last phase of the qualifiers where they will be required to fight for five slots given to Africa at the expanded World Cup Tournament.

Ghana has been drawn in Group G of the qualifiers and will face still competition from South Africa, Ethiopia, and Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, defending Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Champions Algeria has been drawn in Group A while Nigeria and Senegal have been put into Group C and Group H respectively.
