Gabby Otchere-Darko donates to Accra Great Olympics

A member of the ruling New Patriotic Party [NPP], Mr Gabby Otchere-Darko, has presented an amount of GH¢10,000 to Accra Great Olympics.

It would be recalled that the hierarchy of the club visited the renowned lawyer at his office last week and was presented with Olympics-branded polo shirt and towel.

The delegation from Great Olympics, led by Public Relations Officer Saint Osei and famous supporter of the club and lawyer, Naa Odofoley Nortey.

The donation by Otchere Darko was done to motivate the players ahead of their matchday 28 games against Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The presentation was done on Monday by Naa Odofoley Nortey on behalf of Otchere-Darko at the training grounds.

Meanwhile, Olympics qualified for the next round of the MTN FA Cup on Tuesday after defeating Charity Stars.

Mr Otchere was known to be a Hearts of Oak fan but has crossed the carpet to support their city rivals.

Olympics are two-time winners of the Ghana Premier League title, with their last glory in the competition coming in 1974.

The Dade lad currently sit 3rd on the Ghana Premier League with 44 points after 27 matches played.
