Gabriel Jesus in line for new Man City contract

Manchester City are ready to hand Gabriel Jesus a new contract.

The Sun says Gabriel is set for a bumper pay rise at Manchester City – only nine months after joining.

The Brazilian striker has hit 12 goals in 15 starts for City since a £27 million move from Palmeiras.

And with his £70,000 a week wage looking low in the current inflated transfer market and salaries, the 20-year-old should be getting a big increase.

The Brazil forward, 20, arrived in the Premier League with the tag of “wonderkid" last January.
