Galatasaray Winger Bruma Unaware of Speculation Linking Him to Arsenal and Tottenham

Galatasaray winger Bruma has spoken about howhe was unaware of interest from Arsenal and Tottenham during the transfer window.


The 21-year-old claims that ifit was common knowledge they wanted to signhim during that time, thenhe was in factavailable.

Speaking to Portuguese sports website O Jogo viaInsideFutbol,Bruma said,"That's news to me.It's all clear to me. It was also said that Manchester United would be interested. Everyone knew that I was available before the new season.


"I'm not leaving. I am happy here and I am really motivated to have a great season."


The winger was signed from Portuguese side Sporting CP in 2013 for a fee of around€10m, and Manchester United have been linked with the player in the past.

Bruma went on to say,"I want to be a champion, also for the fans. For me at the moment that counts. The future, we'll see later."


Bruma has stalled on signing a new contract and speculation is heating up that he could make a move to the Premier League as early as the January transfer window.


He is currently contracted with the Turkish outfit until 2018 and is valued by Galatasaray at around £20m. Last season, Bruma played for La Liga side Real Sociedad.

Bruma scored the only goalon Saturday night in the Super Lig that gave Galatasaray a narrow 1-0 win overGenclerbirligi.


Whilst at the club, Bruma has enjoyed plenty of success helping the team to win the Super Lig in 2015, whilst he has also won two Turkish cups.
