The Greater Accra Regional Circles Council (GARCC) of Asante Kotoko has made a donation to the team to help in its preparations ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup match in Kenya next week.

Asante Kotoko are in Accra preparing for the first leg of the second preliminary round game against Kariobangi Sharks and beat Inter Allies 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium in a friendly on Wednesday.

Executives of the GARCC, which is the mother body of all Asante Kotoko supporters groups in the region, were at the stadium and presented items to the team on behalf of the council after the duel.

The items included ten boxes of Paradise Pac drinking water and two cartons of energy drinks.

Vice Chairman In-charge of Operations, Kwaku Edusei, who made the presentation, said the players must remain focus in their pursuit of a good finish in this season’s competition.

“We are very happy with the performance they put up today. I am confident we are on track to achieving our target in the Confederation Cup. But, they must be focused and prevent distractions".

“We have been with the team since they began camping here and have done a lot to assist in their preparations. What we are giving them now is just a small addition.”
