This evening saw the final Rossoneri words uttered to the press prior to tomorrow's Supercoppa Italiana final v Juventus (scheduled on January 16 2019 at King Abdullah City Sports Stadium of Jeddah at 6.30pm (8.30pm local time).

Coach Gennaro Gattuso spoke in the pre-match press conference: "I am calm. We're coming up against a team that has been successful for many years. These type of matches are good for us. Tomorrow, I want to see a team playing with a carefree attitude, without thinking about who they're facing. In football, the strongest team doesn't always win. We'll need to put in a great performance".

THE TEAM'S WELCOME
"An incredible stadium has been built in just a few months. I played here for Milan at the inauguration. The city is changing a lot, all in a positive way. I want to thank everyone for the manner in which we've been treated – our welcome has been exquisite".

MENTALITY
"I want to see the same spirit from last year's match against Juve in Turin. I don't want to see any fear. We'll need desire, solidity and an aim to play open football. The team must not give up as we did against Olympiacos. We've improved a lot, we must not lose our confidence and courage".

PAQUETÁ
"He is doing good physically, and he's available like everyone else. He's also shown some interesting aspects to his game against Samp, however, there are still wide margins of growth. We'll wait and see if he'll start".

CUTRONE
"I'm pleased with his brace in the Coppa Italia. He's an important player for us and he makes the difference when he comes on – that is for all to see. We need to look out for him and keep him improving".
