Former GFA vice president, George Afriyie has called for the inclusion of Great Olympics midfielder Gladson Awako into the Black Stars.

Awako has been one of the best players in the league this season and recently claimed the player of the month accolade.
On his Facebook wall, Afriyie made his intentions about Awako known.
“You deserve a Black Stars call up, after all, some of you mates are still part of the squad.”

Awako scored a free kick in the Mantse derby against Hearts of Oak.
