George Afriyie meets with leading Astro-Turf manufactures ahead of elections

Ghana Football Association Presidential hopeful George Afriyie held a meeting with Sports Turf manufacturer,  Reform Sports for the construction of pitches in Ghana when he is elected.

The former Vice President met with officials of the company which is a FIFA approved and accredited turf manufacturing company in Turkey and one of the leading brands in the world.

At his manifesto launch earlier this month in Sunyani, George stated the need for Ghana football to rebrand with more  facilities and fundamentals necessary for the sport to grow, he is on the move of making plans for the construction of pitches in the country.

Reform Sports is believed to have pledged a financial arrangement that will offer a facility to the Ghanaian football regulatory body to pay the cost of the manufacturing over a ten year period.

The influential CAF AFCON Committee member and football investor has been speaking of providing the key fundamental basics required for the sport of football to be restored and revived in the country
