Celebrated German football legend, Lothar Matthäus is set to visit Ghana from December 15-19, 2019, as part of the Bundesliga Experience in partnership with StarTimes.
The former World Cup winner and Bayern Munich great is taking part in the StarTimes Bundesliga Legends Tour and will share his football experience while engaging in many other activities with football fans.
As part of the tour, he will also have talks with some key stakeholders in Ghana football and will interact with young talented football players as well as coaches at the Bundesliga Football School.
The aim of the Bundesliga Football School is to develop and promote young talent. It is a partnership project between Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) and StarTimes, the official broadcaster of the German Bundesliga in all Sub-Saharan Africa and will take place in Accra from 14-18 December 2019.
Head of marketing for StarTimes Ghana, Mrs. Akofa Banson while speaking on Lothar’s visit shared that the broadcasters are excited and believes it will provide a good opportunity for fans to experience the Bundesliga.
