German Women’s Bundesliga side FC Köln have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Eunice Beckmann from Spanish side Madrid CFF in the on-going summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old penned a two-year deal with the German side after just one season with Madrid CFF.
She has previously played for Bayern Munich, Bayern Leverkusen, and Duisburg.
“It was a great moment to sign the contract with the FC. My first impressions were very positive and convinced me directly,” Beckmann told the Club’s website.
“After many years abroad, I am really looking forward to being back in Germany and living in Cologne. I think it’s great to be part of the FC family now and I’m looking forward to the new season in the Bundesliga.”
Team manager Nicole Bender says: “We are delighted that Eunice has decided on 1. FC Köln despite many other offers. She is technically strong and has an excellent finish. We can not wait to see her storm in the FC jersey. ”
Beckmann has also previously played for Boston Breakers in the United States, Swedish Club Linköpings FC as well as Swiss side FC Basel.
