Ghana Football Association Presidential hopeful Amanda Clinton has disclosed she took the decision to contest for the vacant FA Presidential seat two months ago.
Ms Amanda said she made the decision to vie for the position after her friends proposed to her to contest for the Executive Council position.
The Astute legal practitioner, who was meeting the media in Kumasi used the opportunity to answer numerous questions pertaining her vision to become the first female to lead Football Association.
“It was two months ago when my friends advised me to go for the EXCO. But I realized been the President I can do more.
“I can do more to help the female team and help them in many ways”
Dreams FC Bankroller Kurt Okraku, Fred Pappoe, former GFA vice President George Afriyie , Lawyer Ankamah and Nana Yaw Amponsah are among the candidates vying for the vacant GFA Presidential role.
The GFA election is scheduled for October 25, 2019 in Accra.
