GFA elections: Kojo Yankah insist Palmer’s disqualification is a personal decision from Dr. Kofi Amoah

The Western Regional FA Chairman, Kojo Yankah has accused the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC), Dr. Kofi Amoah of personally seeing to the disqualification of Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer from contesting the presidential set at the football governing body.

Palmer who is the owner of Tema Youth is the only aspirant out of seven that have been denied the opportunity to contest the upcoming election per the advice of the vetting committee set up by the NC.

With the news of his disqualification causing a major stir among factions who belong to his camp, Kojo Yankah who is a member of Palmer’s campaign team has accused Dr. Kofi Amoah of foul play.

Speaking in an interview with Light FM, Kojo Yankah has noted “I strongly believe this disqualification is a personal decision by Dr. Kofi Amoah”,

Meanwhile, Palmer and his team are reportedly not accepting the decision of the elections committee and will go to court to challenge his disqualification from the race.
