Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee Chairman, Dr Kofi Amoah is backing Asante Kotoko to get a good result in their game against Kariobangi Sharks FC of Kenya.

Kotoko will begin their Africa Campaign on Saturday in Nairobi with a first leg encounter to Kariobangi Sharks FC at the Kasarani Stadium.

Football in the country has been truncated following the revelations of the Anas Expose three months ago. However, the current holders of the FA Cup agreed to represent Ghana at the continental championship.

Dr Amoah who together with his committee gave Kotoko the green light to go to Africa is backing them to do well.

"Kotoko they seem to be taking this going to Africa very serious and the Normalization Committee we are happy we took the decision to allow them to go," he told Joy FM

"I hope Ghanaians can give them the spiritual support because they are one of us and i hope we will encourage them to do well.

"I believe they will get a good result there, we should just support them."
