GFA President Kurt Okraku is unmoved by impending CAS ruling – Aminu Shardow

Administrative Manager of Ghana Premier League outfit Dreams FC, Aminu Shardow has disclosed the GFA president Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku is unperturbed by the impending Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) ruling.

Following Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer’s disqualification in the round up to the GFA elections last year, the embattled football administrator proceeded to CAS to have the decision by then-Normalisation Committee overturned.

The ruling at the Switzerland based arbitrary court is set to be revealed on Friday with varying degrees of expectations from football aficionados.

Many football commentators have posited the Ghana FA president is apprehensive about the ruling with fears of a possible election after the ruling his major headache.

However, Aminu Shardow, who was on Kurt Okraku’s campaign team and a close confidant of the GFA boss revealed the former MTN FA Cup chairman is unfazed by the impending ruling.

“The President of the Ghana Football Association hasn’t shown any indication that he is bothered by this CAS issue,” Shardow told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“President Kurt Okraku is very focused on delivering because he was validly elected by congress,” he added.
