GFA Presidential election: Amanda Clinton urge delegates to vote wisely

Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential candidate, Lawyer Amanda Clinton has urged delegates from the various bodies who will be voting at the upcoming elective congress to wise wisely to ensure that the right person is elected at the end of the day.

The candidate who speaks with confidence is seeking to be given the nod to lead the new administration of the football governing body once the Normalization Committee leaves office in November.

At a debate organized by the NC for candidates to speak to certain key issues that will be important for the progress of football in the country, Lawyer Amanda Clinton has called on all delegates to make sure they vote wisely on the day of the polls.

She shared, “So 40% of the vote is going to come from Division One, 17% from the RFA, 27% from the Premier League, 8% from women, 1% from juvenile, beach futsal, etc, and 2% from coaches”.

“I, therefore, ask you to vote wisely because we all have been waiting for 12 to 18 months in order for a dramatic shift, and I am that shift, she stressed.

The legal practicing is contesting for the presidential seat of the GFA together with Kurt Okraku, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Lawyer George Ankomah Mensah, Fred Pappoe, as well as George Afriyie.

The elective congress is slated to come off on Friday, October 25, 2019.
