General Manager of Accra Great Olympics, Oluboi Comodore has stressed that the moral characters of a person aspiring to become the next president of the Ghana Football Association must be checked whiles insisting that lesbians and gays will not be allowed to lead the association.

The football community is just a month away from going to the polls to elect new leaders particularly its new president to lead the reformed association by the Normalization Committee.

Though the nomination forms for the top job is open to everyone who is interested, Oluboi Comodore has noted that lesbians and gays will have no business at the GFA.

Speaking to New Mercury FM, the football administrator shared, “The moral character of the aspirants needs to be looked into because we can't allow a lesbian or gay to lead the association or someone whose pants is always down or a person whose zip is always opened”.

He added, “Anyone can go and pick up forms to contest for the election. Asiedu Nketiah once said 'any idiot can go to court same as this but the ends will justify the means'. If you're an aspirant and can't get give people to endorse your forms for you then I advise such person to stop running for the election”.

“If you're begging people to endorse your forms then there is no need to contest”.

The presidential race has intensified with the likes of George Afriyie, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer, Kurt Okraku, Amanda Clinton, and Nana Yaw Amponsah all picking up nomination forms to contest for the vacant seat.

They will all be scrutinized at vetting and will undergo an integrity test before the election day on October 25, 2019.
