Avram Grant

Increasing reports in the local media suggest that the Ghana Football Association are set to sack Avram Grant after a clash with Egypt next month in a FIFA World Cup qualifier.

The reports indicate that the FA has already found a replacement for the globe-trotting Israeli coach but Ghana will have to cough-up a compensation fee to pay-off the former Chelsea and West Ham coach.

Grant has only three monhs left on his contract as head coach of the Black Stars but the GFA are willing to lrt him go because of poor results and his decision to spend long periods outside the country and working as a television pundit in England.

It is understood that the GFA prefers a coach that will focus more on developing talents in the local league and helping improve the capacity of local coaches.
