When Kurt Okraku assumed the role as the new president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), he assured the football community that the league will be run autonomously after three seasons.

As part of plans to ensure his administration stays true to its pledge, the Ghana FA has constituted a seven-member committee to oversee the transformation of the Ghana Premier League to an autonomous status next season.

The committee will be chaired by Hearts of Oak board member Vincent Odotei and Kingsley Achiaw as its vice-chairman.

Highly-rated administrator Nana Yaw Amponsah will serve as a member as well as one member from the Executive Council of the GFA.
