The Ghana Football Association [GFA] will roll out plans for the start of the 2020/21 football season.
President Akufo Addo in his 17th address of the nation on Sunday have given clearance for the start of the football on October 30.
The Ghana Premier League and Divsion One League is expected to back following the clearance by the President.
“We will look into it again, the competitions department of the GFA will sit down with the medical committee and come out with a proper plan and that will also be considered by the Executive Council,” he told Citi Sports.
“In the coming days, we will roll out a plan and make it known to the public,” he concluded.
Football came to a standstill in mid-Macrh following the outbreak of novel coronavirus pandemic.
The 2019/20 football season was truncated in June.
The Ghana Football Association had already sent proposals to the various clubs and the government’s COVID-19 Task Force, to outline strict protocols they intended to implement on the return of football.
