The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has today unveiled a newly designed logo that will be used for the Women’s Premier League from next season onwards.

The adoption of the new digital identity for the women’s premier league is part of rebranding as the football community looks ahead to the start of the 2019/2020 Elite Women’s competition.

The logo is beautifully designed with a player in motion with the red, gold, green, and black colours beneath it.

The competition will be launched together with the Ghana Premier League as well as the Division One League on Friday, December 20, 2019, at a ceremony that will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

After the launch, the various Women’s League clubs will have about three weeks to wrap up pre-season before the League officially starts on January 17, 2019.

Giants Hasaacas Ladies will be competing for their fifth title but will have to see off competition from Ampem Darkoa Ladies who also boats of 2 titles. The others are also determined to defy the odds to lift the Women’s Premier League title and will not come easy.
