GFA Vice president rules out a possible K.P Boateng Black Stars return

Vice president of the Ghana Football Association George Afriyie has rubbished calls for Avram Grant to hand UD Las Palmas midfielder Kevin Prince Boating a return into the Black Stars.

The in-form midfielder has been in a top scoring form for the La Liga side since joining a few months ago and his goal was recently voted the CNN Goal of the Week.

Many are therefore calling for his inclusion into the team with sources revealing that Black Stars coach Avram Grant want him in the team.

However, George Afriyie says it’s impossible to hand a suspended player a call up into the national team.

"Avram Grant cannot call up a suspended player Into the national team.” He told Asempa FM.

Kevin was kicked out of camp by then Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah in Brazil during the 2014 World Cup.

The presidential commission of enquiry has also banned the German-born Ghanaian international from the team indefinitely.
