GFA Vice President tips Maidens to progress from tough group

The GFA Vice President, George Afriyie has tipped the Black Maidens to qualify from their group despite the stiff opposition.

The Maidens were yesterday drawn against USA, Paraguay and Japan for the 2016 FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup slated for Jordan.

Ghana won Bronze at the 2012 edition in Azerbaijan and George Afriyie insists they have confidence in the team to progress from the group.

“Its definitely going to be a very tough group but we have every confidence in our girls to deliver,” he told footballghana.com
