GFA will announce the starting date for the Ghana Premier League soon – vice president Mark Addo

The newly-elected vice president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Mark Addo has noted that the date for the commencement for the upcoming Ghana Premier League will be announced shortly.

The 2019/2020 season is expected to start in mid-December of this year following the successful election of Kurt Okraku as the new president of the country’s football governing body.

Whiles the official date for the kick-off remains unknown, Nzema Kotoko CEO Mark Addo has called for patience from the football community whiles indicating that the necessary information will be put out soon.

“The GFA will bring out the date for the commencements of the league and for now I can't outline anything”, the football administrator said whiles speaking to Storm FM earlier today.

He further shared, “Give the GFA opportunity to work. We know it will take time and all the entire Ghanaian populace should help bring back the good fortune”.

Meanwhile, footballghana.com sources say that GNPC and Ghana Gas will be sponsoring the upcoming League season.
