President for the Ghana Football Association [GFA], Kurt Okraku has assured that his outfit is working tirelessly to secure a headline sponsorship before the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League start.

The 2020/21 football season in which Hearts of Oak emerged as the winner ended without a headline sponsor.

With the new season scheduled to kick off in October, Mr Okraku in an interview has said they will ensure they secure a headline sponsor before the season kicks off.

"We are working tirelessly to secure a headline sponsor for the Premier League and the Division One League," he said.

"We tried last season but I am hopeful it will work this time around.

"I am only pleading that we all play our role well because the FA is doing their best and the media must also do the same but if we continue to do the wrong things, it means we will struggle to get what we want," he added.

The GFA has Melcom, Macron, MTN, Woodin, among others as sponsors.
