GHALCA G6: Bechem United coach Kasim Mingle satisfied with second place finish

Bechem United head Coach Kasim Mingle is pleased with his side's second place finish in the GHALCA G6 tournament.

The Hunters lost 2-0 to Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday conceding a goal in each half with the second goal for Olympics coming from the penalty spot.

“We came to and assess our strengths for the commencement of the league has helped us a lot identify some loopholes in the team we’re going to work on it before the commencement of the league," coach Mingle told CITI Sports.

"Not all it’s a preseason friendly match…and we have a league match next week so that’s what matters the most” he stated.

Bechem United finished third in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League behind champions Asante Kotoko and Medeama SC.

The 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 9 to Monday, September 12 across the country.

Bechem United will travel to Accra to take Great Olympics on match week one of the new Premier League season.
