GHALCA G8 tournament officially launched

The Ghana League Clubs Association have officially launched the GHALCA G8 tournament at the True Vine Hotel in Kumasi. 

The preseason tournament has been slated for 6th to 21st of January next year.

Eight Club paired in two groups will compete for the ultimate with two of Ghana's glamorous clubs Hearts and Kotoko in the running for the coveted trophy.

Ghana Premier League Champions Aduana Stars are in group A with Kumasi Asante Kotoko, as FA Cup Champions and newly promoted sides Dreams FC and Eleven Wonders.

In Group B, Accra Hearts of Oak, who placed third last season will face newly promoted side Karela FC, Ebusua Dwarfs and Medeama.

Medeama SC replaced second place finishers WAFA after they pulled out of the competition.

The Baba Yara Sports Stadium and the Cape Coast Stadium will be used for the competition.
