Ghana 3-1 Sao Tome and Principe: Black Stars player ratings

The Black Stars recorded a fairly comfortable 3-1 victory over Sao Tome and Principe at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Nicholas Opoku opened the scoring with a powerful header inside 13 minutes. Jordan Ayew doubled the advantage from the spot in the 31st minute and Baba Rahman ended the scoring for the hosts in the 60th minute.

In the 83rd minute, Razak Abalora gifted the ball to Carvalho who made no mistake, slotting the ball into an open net.

He gifted Sao Tome a goal late in the game.

Benson Anang-5

He was barely involved offensively.

Ismail Ganiyu-6

He was mostly solid at the back.

Nicholas Opoku-7

He bombed forward and was able to score a goal.

The Swansea City star was also quite involved in this game. He was constantly moving around, finding pockets of space for his teammates to exploit.

He had two assists and was lively throughout.

Jordan Ayew-8

He was a real menace for the defenders before he was taken off.

He went quiet after a few minutes.
