Ghana and Ethiopia are set to send in a bid to host the 2018 Championship of Africa Nations (CHAN) tournament.
The two countries are reportedly interested in hosting the competition as replacement for Kenya who were stripped off the hosting rights.
CAF have already opened application for interested countries who will like to host the competition slated for January next year.
The continent’s football governing body will take into consideration facilities and stadia available to host the event.
Ghana will take advantage of a successful WAFU Cup of Nations tournament which came to an end on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium to host the imminent football tournament bit faces a stiff competition from Ethiopia who are willing to host.
Ghana failed to qualify for the competition after losing to Burkina Faso.
