Ghana international, Joseph Attamah Lawerh will not feature for his Kayserispor outfit for the next five weeks.

This follows his successful surgery in Turkey to correct the problem with his knee.

He is now set to start rehabilitation as part of his bid to recover from his injury.

"Our professional football player Joseph Attamah was hospitalized at Acıbadem Fulya Hospital due to his left knee Patellar Tendon injury. Dr. Necessary intervention was made by Tunay Erden. We convey our best wishes to our football player and hope that he will return to us as soon as possible,” part of an official club statement from the Turkish Super League club has said.

Due to his injury, Joseph Attamah Lawerh missed his team’s opening match of the 2022/23 football season.

He is now ruled out of action for as many as five weeks.

The medical team of Kayserispor is confident that he could even be back a week earlier than expected.
