Ghana captain Andre Ayew has reacted to Al Sadd’s win over Al Arabi SC in the Qatar Stars League.

The Ghana international started and lasted the entire duration as his outfit inflicted a 2-0 away win over Al Arabi on Monday.

Despite not finding his name on the scoresheet, the former Swansea City star impressed as his side picked a second straight win in the top-flight after the World Cup.

Goals from Santi Cazorla and Hassan Al-Haydos ensured the visitors secure all points as they seek to defend the title.

After the game, Ayew took to social media to express his joy following his sides win over Al Arabi.

"3 points, we keep going" he posted on Instagram.

Al Sadd have been extremely effective in the last two games, scoring six points to close in on the top four on the table.

They are still 10 points off the top spot, but with many games remaining, they remain optimistic, particularly Ayew, who scored in the club's first game of the year.

Ayew has four goal contributions (three goals and one assist) in nine league games this season
