Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and some of his colleagues have posted messages on their social media pages to offer support to tragedy-hit Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko following a fatal accident that killed one person.

Dark clouds gathered over Ghana football on Wednesday night after the club's deputy equipment officer Kofi Asare died on the spot as the team bus rammed into a snail-moving truck on their return to Kumasi after a league match in Accra.

Ghana football has been thrown into a state of shock and mourning.
