Ghana defender Alexander Djiku is expected to arrive in Germany today ahead of his move to Hoffenheim move.

According to French media outlet, L’equipe, the 27-year-old will be showing up for his medical after agreeing personal terms with the Bundesliga club and will sign on a four-year-deal.

Hoffenheim are finalising the transfer fee with Strasbourg, around €7million.

The Black Stars' top defender had a fantastic campaign with RC Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1 during the past two seasons.

Last season, Djiku was excellent for his team and helped his side to finish 6th on the league table at the end of the campaign.

He made 31 league appearances for Strasbourg and scored one goal in the process.

Courtesy of his impressive exploits, the centre-back was being chased by several top clubs in Europe but has opted to join Hoffenheim ahead of the new season.
