The German second Division side is looking for a new right-back and hopes to have found it with Van Rhijn or Opare.

Opare is without a club after partying ways with Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem in July 2021.

He believes he still has a lot of running in him and is looking forward to sealing a move as soon as possible.

With his representatives working very hard to make that happen, the player has been granted a short trial period to audition before a possible signing if his manages to impress.

According to sources, he has so far made a mark and could be signed by the close of this week.

In the past, Opare had a great stint in Germany where he played for Bundesliga side Augsburg.

He also had spells with Racing Lens, Royal Antwerp, Real Madrid Castilla, Standard Liege, FC Porto, Besiktas, as well as CS Sfaxien.
