Ghana defender Joseph Aidoo anticipates tough test for Celta Vigo in match against Betis

Ghana international, Joseph Aidoo has indicated that he expects his Celta Vigo outfit to face a tough test from Real Betis in the Spanish La Liga this weekend.

The centre-back has been in tremendous form in recent weeks as he aims to help his club to secure a good position on the standings of the La Liga to merit a place in European competition next season.

Speaking after his team’s narrow defeat to Villarreal last weekend, Joseph Aidoo stressed that the next encounter will be an important clash.

"It's a very important game, it's like a final. In LaLiga all games are difficult and this one will be too,” Joseph Aidoo shared after the Villarreal match.

Joseph Aidoo recently signed a new contract with Celta Vigo as a reward for his current impressive form.

Courtesy of his contract extension deal, the defender will now stay at Celta Vigo until June 30, 2026.
