Club African defender Nicholas Opoku received the Man of the Match Award in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter finals second leg win over MC Alger.

The defender was solid in the heart of defence preventing the Algerian from finding the back of the net.

Opoku helped Club African to progress to the semifinals with a 2-1 aggregate score line.

The defender joined Club African from Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea and has since been a star performer for the North Africans.

The former Berekum Chelsea captains exploit earned him a call up for Ghana’s world cup qualifier against Uganda next month.
