Ghana defender Yaw Frimpong leaves T.P Mezembe

Ghanaian defender Yaw Frimpong has parted ways with Congolese giants Tout Puissant Mezembe following a remarkable season with the club. 

Yaw Frimpong joins compatriots Daniel Nii Adjei and Solomon Asante who left the club some weeks ago. The left back joined Mezembe from Kotoko four seasons ago but has ended his relationship with the club.

Frimpong, was member of the side that won the CAF Confederations Cup last season but T.P Mezembe have confirmed his departure form the club.

”The two Ghanaian internationals have greatly helped the team reach its goals in the national league, the CAF Cup and also in the Champions League,” a club statement read.

”The TPM would like to thank these great champions and wish them the best for the rest of their careers.”

Meanwhile, Yaw Frimpong is reported to be joining former colleagues Gladson Awako and Solomon Asante at Phoenix Rising in the United Staes.
