Ghana's female national team has moved backwards in FIFA Latest Football ranking to 50, losing second best Africa team to Cameron as 40th behind the Super Falcons.
Nigeria unchanged as best in Africa but 39th in world ranking despite clinching AWCON title. The ranking released on Friday, 7 December showed Ghana as having amassed 1503 points to secure third place in Africa but 50th in the world.
South Africa, which lost to Nigeria in the final of the 2018 Africa women's cup hosted in Ghana is 48th on the ranking in front of Ghana.
South Africa is currently 3rd best Africa team.
