Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi has been handed a second term on the FIFA Council after winning his election in the ongoing CAF congress in Ethiopia.

Nyantakyi defeated Tanzania's Leodegar Tenga by securing 33 votes with his opponent getting 20.

The GFA boss thus earns a four-year term on the FIFA Council after securing just six months in office in his previous victory for the same post.
