Ghana FA Cup: Nations FC coach Kasim Mingle blames officiating for defeat against Asante Kotoko

Nations FC tactician Kasim Ocansey Mingle has attributed his outfit defeat against Asante Kotoko in the Round 64 of the FA Cup to officiating.

The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a 4-2 over Nations FC to edge out Kasim Mingle’s outfit in the Cup competition on Tuesday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Kotoko took a 3-0 lead within the first 20 minutes, highlighting their strong start to the game. They maintained their momentum throughout, ultimately securing their spot in the Round of 32.

Mukwala contributed significantly to propel his outfit to victory. He was involved in all goals for the Ghanaian giants, scoring two and assisting two in the process.

“You all aware of what transpired in the game but I will say it. It is unfortunate we conceded such goals. We came with a strategy to win, unfortunately, it did not work for us”

“The way the match officials started handling the game definitely that is what will happen. It a game, when things go this way, the end will result will be defeat” he told Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com.

Nations FC will now turn their attention to the Ghana Premier League following their elimination from the FA Cup.
