The Executive Council (Exco) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will engage in deliberations over a Zoom Meeting tomorrow to decide the fate of the football season.

The 2019/2020 football season in the country started with the Ghana Premier League in December 2019 and was followed by the National Division One League and the Women's Premier League in January 2020.

Three months on, the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic that has rocked the country forced the government to suspend all the leagues as a precautionary measure against the spread of the deadly disease.

With the Ghana FA set to take a final decision on the fate of the 2019/2020 season, the Executive Council of the body will meet tomorrow to discuss the options on the table.

The meeting according to Accra-based Angel FM will be held via Zoom at 17:00GMT.

With the government noting that football activities remain banned until July 31, 2020, there are reports that the season will be canceled after tomorrow's meeting.
