The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is in talks to finalise two friendly matches for the Black Stars before the team travels to Cameroon for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Ghana is one of 32 countries that will in January 2022 converge in Cameroon to play in the delayed continental showpiece.
With Ghana aiming to end a 40-year drought to lift the AFCON, the country’s FA is determined to give the national team the best of preparations.
As confirmed by footballghana.com already, the Black Stars will pitch camp in Doha, Qatar starting from December 22.
There, the Black Stars will play three friendly matches including one against Algeria on January 5.
With the other two friendly games however, the Ghana FA are still in talks to settle on the opponent.

Subsequently, the Black Stars will depart to Cameroon on January 7, 2022.
