Ghana FA in talks with Kwesi Appiah to take over from Avram Grant

The Ghana Football Association has contacted former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah to take over from Avram Grant.

According to reports in the local media, the GFA has resolved to let Israeli trainer Avram Grant go following recent insipid performances of the team.

Ghana have failed to record a win in their last five games and after drawing one and losing the other in their opening two games for the 2018 World Cup qualifier, qualification to the tournament is in doubt.

The FA is said to have called Kwesi Appiah who is currently with Khartoum FC in Sudan to come for the team ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and .
