The Ghana Football Association has wished Kwadwo Asamoah luck ahead of the crucial Champions League Final between Juventus and Real Madrid at the Principality stadium in Cardiff.

Juventus are chasing a first Champions League title since 1996 after beating Ajax on penalties after a 1–1 draw in which Fabrizio Ravanelli scored for Juventus. Real Madrid on the other hand are looking at defending the title they won last year.

Kwadwo Asamoah even though has had a tough season troubled by injuries is fit for the game and could feature for the Turin side.

Ghanaian previous winners of Europe’s prestigious club competition include Abedi Pele, Ibrahim Tanko, Sammy Kuffour, Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien.

The former Udinese player could become the seventh Ghanaian to win if Juventus triumph tonight and the Ghana Football Association have extended their best wishes to Kwadwo Asamoah.

They tweeted, “The #Ghana FA wishes @Asabob20 the best of luck in tonight's #UCLfinal .

We will be on the edge of our seats watching and praying for you.”
