It has emerged that GFA Normalization Committee are considering to organise a stop-gap competition in place of truncated 2018/19 season and also usher in Ghanaian clubs into 2019/20 season.
Source reveals that, clubs have accorded with the Normalization Committee in a meeting to have a stop-gap competition slated early January and late June next year before rolling out a full calendar for the 2019/2020 league season due to the Africa Cup of Nations.
However, the competition which is yet to be named will have the Premier League Clubs as well as the Division One League Clubs as participants.
In no time, there will be a meeting this week to finalize related issues with the resumption of football in the country.
The Normalisation Committee will also meet the captains of the premier league teams on Monday as part of their effort to restore the game into normalcy.
