Ghana international Caleb Ekuban broke his personal goal-scoring record at Trabzonspor over the weekend when he scored in the team’s 2-1 win against Gençlerbirliği in the Turkish Super Lig.

The forward has in the last three seasons has played for the Turkish club having joined them on loan in 2018 before subsequently sealing a permanent move.

In all the last two seasons, Caleb Ekuban failed to score more than five goals in the Turkish Superliga.

However, with just 14 appearances this season out of the 20 matches Trabzonspor has played, the Black Stars asset has already equaled and surpassed that mark.

The 26-year-old has six goals plus two assists and looks like could reach double figures in goals before the ongoing Turkish Super Lig season ends.

Meanwhile, Caleb Ekuban in an interview after the 2-1 win against Gençlerbirliği has set his sight on scoring more to help the team pick up additional wins

“It was a good win. We continue by winning,” the Trabzonspor star shared.
