Ghanaian forward Caleb Ekuban will have his medicals ahead of his move to Italian Serie A outfit Genoa on Wednesday, Footballghana.com can report.
The Serie A side Genoa is believed to have reached an agreement with Turkish Superlig side Trabzonspor for the services of Black Stars forward Caleb Ekuban.
Genoa have already agreed personal terms with Ekuban and is expected to undergo his medical examination on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 ahead of his proposed move to the club.
The Ghanaian forward is expected to pen a three-year deal with the club should he pass his medicals.
Ekuban's transfer from Trabzonspor to Genoa will cost around 2.2 million Euros.
He started his career in Italy at Mantova Youth team before moving to Chievo Verona where he spent at 7 years at the youth and senior levels.
The enterprising forward enjoyed loan spells at FC Suditrol, FC Lumezzane, AC Renate all in Italy and also FK Partizani in Albania.
The former Leeds United player had an instrumental campaign in the Turkish top-flight last term where he scored 10 goals in 32 appearances.
Ekuban has capped 9 times for Ghana scoring 3 goals in the process and will be hoping to make the Black Stars squad for 2021 AFCON slated for Cameroon early next year.
