Ghana forward Ibrahim Sadiq confirms imminent AZ Alkmaar move

Ghana forward Ibrahim Sadiq has confirmed his transfer to Dutch Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar is imminent.

The 23-year-old former Ghana U-20 star revealed in an interview his current club BK Hacken has given him permission to complete formalities with AZ Alkmaar.

The former FC Nordsjaelland man has been very instrumental for the Swedish team his switch from Denmark in 2022.

Ibrahim Sadiq featured for BK Hacken in their 4-2 loss at Goteborg, missing a penalty before being taken off in the 58th minute.

Speaking to Football Channel after the game, he said “It's true, they want to sign me. I have a medical examination tomorrow Monday. I have received permission to go and will be back on Tuesday to then travel with the team on Wednesday."

Since joining BK Hacken from FC Nordsjaelland in 2022, the talented forward has racked up 25 goals and provided 8 assists in 42 appearances in the summit of Swedish football contests.
