Ghana forward John Antwi returns from suspension to grab winner for El-Makassa in Egyptian League

JOHN ANTWI scored for his club side El-Makkasa SC in their 2-1 victory over Arab Contractors on Wednesday.

Antwi who returned from suspension to grab the winner for the side after missing the opening day defeat to Smouha last week following suspension.

Antwi scored in the 67th minute to hand Makkasa the lead after Rajab Omran had equalized for the visitors three minutes earlier.

The former Al Ahly striker continued from where he left off last season after finishing the season with 16 goals, two behind eventual golden boot winner Walid Azarou.

John Antwi signed a three-year contract with the side earlier this year to make his loan move permanent.

He previously played for Ismaily and Al Shabab.
