Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus was in action for his Ajax side on Thursday evening when they drew 1-1 against FC Utrecht in the Dutch Eredivisie.
The exciting forward in the past month has had a run in games but always as a substitute after recovering from his injury.
Yesterday when his team locked horns with FC Utrecht to clear their outstanding match in the Eredivisie, coach Erik Ten Hag handed Mohammed Kudus a starting role but deep in midfield to slot in for Davy Klaassen.
On the matchday, Simon Gustafsson converted a penalty kick in the 13th minute to shoot the away team into the lead against the run of play.
Failing to get back into the game before the break, Ajax had to put on a fight to later score through Edson Álvarez in the 70th minute to ensure the game ended in a stalemate at the end of the contest.
On the matchday, Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus played 56 minutes before his place was taken by Davy Klaassen.
